GOAL #1

WHO'S WORKING ON THIS GOAL?
OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD NETWORK

The network seeks to increase access to quality child care and education through the expansion of our education campaign to support parents, caregivers, and early childhood education providers in their role and by advocating to more fully integrate early childhood learning with its focus of the whole child with k-12 education.
MEET THE NETWORK
WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON NOW
Providing traveling presentations to school staff, child care providers and the community about general Kindergarten expectations and local data collected about early childhood experiences and how it relates to being ready for school.
Supporting further training, implementation and development of Kindergarten Entry Profile
(KEP) approved assessments.
Developing supporting and enhancing targeted family engagement opportunities through partnerships that support early childhood development in literacy, math  and social/emotional skills.
Continuing to collect and analyze local early childhood data to better align our resources and inform our community.

Every student succeeds in school.
WHO'S WORKING ON THIS GOAL?
OUR K-8 NETWORK

Members of our K-8 network works to make sure that all students of the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids-Rice and Sartell-St. Stephen school districts emerge from their K-8 experience ready for success in high school and beyond. They will be academically prepared, possess strong social and emotional skills, have a sense of belonging, and view learning and education as important. 
MEET THE NETWORK
WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON NOW
Facilitating the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of work plans with network organizations to act on the priorities, focus areas, gaps and root causes determined in our recent strategic planning process with the SEARCH Institute.
Working to build networks around the three focus groups identified by our strategic planning process: Free/Reduced Lunch, African American and Somali American.
Developing plans for implementation with partners to meet the initial steps outlined by the strategic planning process.

OUR CAREER AND POST-SECONDARY READINESS NETWORK


The goal of our Post-Secondary Readiness network is that every student is ready for career training or  post-secondary education. Members of our network continue to develop and implement plans to achieve this goal through community-wide work teams that coordinate and engage multiple constituencies and existing initiatives and efforts in the Partnership area.

MEET THE NETWORK
WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON NOW
Develop a peer network to connect 9th grade students with high school seniors for support
during the transition year.
Align and create curriculum and resources to support community partners to leverage college and career readiness plans for students through trainings and a toolkit that enhances what is being delivered within our three school districts.
Develop a framework and program that provides internships, apprenticeships and other
experiential opportunities with community partners and businesses
